Social media that supports the bigger picture.
Platforms used strategically to support your wider SEO and business goals, not run as a disconnected task. Every post has a job to do, whether that's building trust, driving searches for your name or bringing people back to your website.
Most businesses post because they feel they should.
Social media often ends up as a box to tick: a few posts a week, written in a rush, with no clear link to what the business actually needs. It takes time, and it's hard to say what it's achieving.
Done properly, social builds recognition and trust, gets people searching for your name, and puts your expertise in the places AI tools look. That only happens when it's planned as part of the bigger picture.
Signs your social isn't working hard enough
- Posting without clear goals or a plan
- The same post copied across every platform
- Chasing likes rather than enquiries
- No link between social activity and your website
- Bursts of activity, then weeks of silence
- Trying to be everywhere instead of where your customers are
How social media supports your visibility everywhere else.
Social posts don't directly push up your Google rankings. What they do is build the recognition, trust and reach that search engines and AI tools pay attention to.
People who see you on social often search for your name later, a strong sign of a trusted business.
Your best guides and pages reach far more people, earning visits, shares and links.
AI tools often draw on public platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube and Reddit. Being active and helpful there adds to your credibility.
Followers and engaged visitors can be retargeted with ads, at a lower cost per enquiry.

FAQs
Which social media platforms should my business be on?
The ones your customers actually use. For most B2B and professional services that's LinkedIn. For local businesses, clinics and consumer brands it's usually Instagram and Facebook. It's better to do one or two platforms well than five badly.
How often should we post?
Consistency matters more than volume. For most businesses, two or three good posts a week on each main platform is plenty, as long as each one is useful and on brand.
Do you create the content?
Yes. I plan and write the posts myself, drawing on my background as a trained copywriter. Where you need design, photography or video, I bring in trusted specialists from my network.
Does social media help SEO?
Not directly. Likes and shares aren't a Google ranking factor. But social builds brand searches, content reach and mentions, which all support your visibility in Google and AI search.
Do you run paid social ads too?
Yes. I manage Meta and LinkedIn ad campaigns as part of my paid ads service, so organic and paid social work together.
