WordPress sites built to rank in Google organic search and every major AI search engine.
Making WordPress sites fast, structured and AI crawlable from the ground up, not as an afterthought. Whether you need a new site or want to get more from the one you have, I make sure it's built to win customers, not just look good.
Most WordPress sites are built to look good, not to be found.
WordPress powers a huge share of the web, and it's a brilliant platform for SEO when it's set up well. The trouble is that many sites are built by designers focused on how they look, with search treated as a plugin to install at the end.
The result is a site that looks the part but loads slowly, confuses search engines and gets passed over by AI tools. Fixing it after launch always costs more than getting it right from the start.
Common WordPress problems
- A plugin for everything, each one slowing the site down
- Page builders set up in ways that bloat the code
- Themes loaded with features and demo content you never use
- No structured data beyond the SEO plugin's basics
- Security settings that quietly block AI crawlers
- Built without a plan for which pages need to rank
Four things every WordPress site needs to be recommended.
Google organic search and AI search engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews reward the same foundations. An AI optimised site gets all four right.
Pages that load quickly on any phone, so visitors and crawlers don't give up.
Clean code, clear headings and schema that spell out exactly what you offer.
Nothing blocking Google or AI crawlers from reaching and reading your content.
Pages built around the questions customers ask, so AI tools can quote them.
A new site, or a better version of the one you have.
New WordPress builds
I plan the structure, pages and content around how customers search, then build with trusted developers and designers from my network. SEO and AI search are part of the plan from day one.
Optimising your current site
A full review of your theme, plugins, hosting and content, followed by the fixes that will make the biggest difference, without starting again.
Migrations & relaunches
Moving to WordPress or redesigning your site without losing the rankings and traffic you've already built.
Everything that makes a WordPress site fast, clear and easy to recommend.
Lightweight theme & clean code
A theme and build that load quickly and produce clean, well structured HTML.
Plugin audit

Structured data added to your page templates, so every new page gets it automatically.
SEO ready page templates
Service, location and FAQ templates designed around the questions customers ask.
Clear headings & structure
Logical headings and sections that make each page easy for AI tools to read and quote.
SEO plugin setup
Yoast or Rank Math configured properly, with no pages hidden from Google by mistake.
AI crawler & security settings
Security that keeps bad bots out without blocking GPTBot, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot.
Thin archive pages tidied
Tag, category and author pages handled so they don't dilute your site.

FAQs
Do I need a new website, or can my current one be fixed?
Often it can be fixed. I'll look at your theme, plugins, hosting and content first. If the foundations are sound, optimising is quicker and cheaper. If they're holding you back, I'll tell you honestly and explain what a rebuild would involve.
Do you work with Elementor and other page builders?
Yes. Page builders like Elementor can be fast and search friendly when they're set up carefully. Most problems come from how they're configured, not the builder itself.
Can you work alongside my web developer?
Absolutely. I often work with a client's existing developer, providing clear SEO requirements and checking the work, or bring in developers from my own trusted network when needed.
Which SEO plugin should I use?
Yoast and Rank Math are both good options. The plugin matters far less than how it's set up, and neither does the whole job on its own.
Do you optimise WooCommerce shops?
Yes. Product and category pages, product schema, filters that create duplicate pages, and site speed on large catalogues are all part of it.
